I started UGA Tango club in 2006. The UGA tango club’s mission is to 1) foster cultural diversity in the UGA and Athens community as well as promote cross-cultural integration of its different members through the Argentinean Tango dance and 2) support UGA student organizations and community groups through dance performances. One of the examples of how we help community is that we provided Christmas baskets to a family who lost their father who was killed by a tree.
