Athens Tangueros Facebook Group Location: Memorial Hall Ballroom Special Information: Semester Fees are due at first event To allow for social distancing, we are moving the classes to Memorial Hall Ballroom. We will implement appropriate measures for the classes, as recommended by the CDC. RSVP to classes Classes will be on Mondays from 6:00 - 8:00p and will run August 23 - December 6. No class will be held September 6 (Labor day) or November 22 (Thanksgiving Break). Memorial Hall is a more expensive venue but will give us the space we need for social distancing. Cost for full semester UGA Student is $20 UGA Faculty or Staff is $30 Non-UGA is $40 For now, until CDC guidelines change, we will have a maximum of 24 students. We will follow guidance from GDPH and CDC and we will notify you should that guidance change. If you are interested in the classes, please visit the facebook event and RSVP. No payments will be needed until the first class so you are not committing to spending funds. We just want to gauge interest in the classes. As always, from 6:00 - 7:00pm we will be teaching beginner basics which is also a refresher for even experienced dancers. From 7:00 - 8:00pm, we will be teaching intermediate & advanced sequences. We have an exciting line up for you this Fall. We have spent the last year developing 49 different intermediate/advanced sequences to teach in the 7:00 - 8:00pm hour.
